Simply knowing that God loves you and gave His Son for you is not enough. You must choose for yourself to follow Him. God has done His part, now it’s your move.

Turning TO God means you are turning FROM your way and choosing God’s. It means you give your life over to Him and give Him control of your actions, thoughts, habits, attitudes, everything!

It all happens by faith. Faith is trusting in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life.

How Do We Know This?

“For it is by grace (receiving something you don’t deserve) you have been saved, through faith-and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast” – Ephesians 2:8-9

What Must I Do?

1. Admit to God that you need Him in your life.
2. Repent and be willing to turn away from your sin.
3. Invite Jesus to come and live in your heart and life.

Pray a simple prayer like this one:

“Lord Jesus, I know that you love me. I know that I am a sinner and do not deserve your forgiveness. I believe you died to pay for my sins and rose again for my salvation. I invite you into my heart and life as Savior and Lord. Help me to be the person you created me to be. Thank you for saving me. Amen.

If you prayed this prayer from your heart, then you are now a child of God.
